Detailed Description Geared towards a first grade level, this workbook begins with a quick review of all capital letters, which are taught in gray blocks to reinforce consistent size and to avoid reversals. The workbook then moves on to lower case letters which are presented alongside their capital-sized match. Once children have learned and reviewed 6 lowercase letters (c o s v w t), they an begin to use twin words pages which are presented on opposite each letter teaching page. Children learn a new letter and immediately begin to use it to write words. There are letter review and sentence practice pages throughout the book. There are also number pages at the end.
