Detailed Description
This school prep kit was designed by an occupational therapist with an advanced specialty in pediatrics. It was put together with the goal of preparing children for school by providing active, goal-directed play; children play games while achieving functional success. They get ready for school all through play: no workbooks, no pencils - 100% fun! Each kit contains exclusive materials and games to help create a smooth transition into the world of education. The straight-forward instructions are clearly laid out in full-color guide books with supporting illustrations. All of the materials fit easily into a customized no-spill carrying case which is designed with organized compartments, an easy snap lid, and a built in easel. The games all have a 'back to basics' slant, with a clever edge so that kids feel like they are playing while they are building their foundation skills for school.
This kit is packed with 10 playful games to establish good habits for learning handwriting and promoting proper grasp of pencils. Each item in the kit is specially designed to improve fine motor coordination. The guidebook contains a series of multisensory activities to help build the small muscles of the hands and fingers. Children use dough stampers, mini crayons, Mr. Crunch and many more exclusive game pieces to get hands ready for school success.
