We chose this set specifically for young learners as a gentle and straightforward introduction to Emotions. With each card measuring a substantial 8 x 5 inches, these cards present photographs of children in different emotional states. This is a wonderful tool for language development and is great both at home and in a classroom setting. Each set contains 22 photo cards and an Activity Guide. Emotions depicted include: Upset; Happy; Worried; Scared; Sad; Surprised; Angry; Silly; Lonely; Joyful; Excited, among others.

Unfortunately, most of these cards had the same expression, no expression at all. So many of the kids who need to learn from these cards have autism, and they are not able to pick up on very subtle expressions; they need to be more obvious.
