Detailed Description This kit is designed for professionals who use both sign and vocalization to teach children with autism to request, or mand, with sign language. There are 80 real-life, color photos depicting actions that are frequently used by children with developmental disabilities. The front of each card shows the verb while the reverse side contains a written description of the sign and a photo of the hand shapes in ASL, as well as the word shells. The accompanying manual describes treatment strategies for implementation of use of sign language to promote vocal communication.
