Detailed Description
This comprehensive kit contains 2,000 flashcards which have been expressly created to address the materials required for an early intervention ABA program at an incredible value.
The cards are organized to cover a multitude of targets, including many for generalization purposes. The categories cover: Actions, Animals, Emotions, Shapes, Associations, Body Parts, Patterns, Numbers and many more. For those teaching in the Verbal Behavior method, there are cards sorted by feature and function. There are also cards for Identical/Non-Identical Matching & Sorting, and Receptive & Expressive Object Labels.
In addition to the incredible variety of flashcards, the Kit also comes with a set of 3-D items to foster 2-D to 3-D Matching skills. The manipulatives and toys include a set of animals, food and blocks, for use with and without the card set for matching, sorting, non-identical match and imaginative play.
The cards are organized according to different skills or teaching areas, making it easy for instructors to locate the desired stimuli. The stimuli presented are designed to take you through multiple stages of each concept following a flowchart of skills. For example, for Matching you can follow this sequence of teaching: 3D to 3D identical, 2D to 3D identical, 3D to 2D identical, 2D to 2D identical, 3D to 3D non-identical, 2D to 2D non-identical, and Sorting. Another suggested sequence for teaching are with the use of Letters, Numbers and Shapes cards. The student first works on Matching, then Receptive Identification, Expressive Identification, and finally, Sequential Order. There are multiple exemplars of the targets and concepts so that generalization can be built in to teaching.
